Examination Results Day 2025 – Congratulations Year 11!!

We are celebrating our best GCSE results in recent years, marking a significant milestone in our school’s academic journey.  The impressive results reflect the hard work, resilience, and determination of students and staff, and position us on a strong path of continued improvement. A key highlight from this year’s results include 43% of students achieving a grade 5 or higher in English and Maths, a key benchmark for future success.

Having recently joined the Midsomer Norton School Partnership trust.  The additional support by being a member of a high performing trust has enabled Ansford Academy to make rapid progress in its school development.

Karl Musson said ‘our students have done themselves, their community and our school proud.  These results represent countless hours of hard work, working with families and a real passion for learning.   I am honoured to be Head of School at Ansford Academy and these results reflect our ongoing improvement and I very much look forward to seeing Ansford Academy continue to grow to be the best it can be’

RETURNING ACADEMY ITEMS

You are kindly requested to bring with and you return any Academy text books or library items that you still have.

We also welcome the donation of any uniform or PE kit that is no longer of use to you, should you wish to make this available for other students.

ART & DESIGN/DESIGN TECHNOLOGY WORK

We must hold all practical work until the deadline for requesting a review of results has passed or until any appeal, malpractice or other results enquiry has been completed, whichever is later.

This is generally towards the end of November.

We request that Art & Design and Design Technology students express their interest in having their work returned, so that we are able to store this appropriately ready for collection.

Please email [email protected], with details on whether you would like it prepared for return, are happy for it to be used in school as exemplar material, or are happy for it to be disposed for recycling.

EXAMINATION CERTIFICATES

Examination certificates are given out at a ‘Certificate Collection’ event in November.  If you are unable to attend this event you can collect your certificates from the Academy Reception during normal opening times after this date.

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU COLLECT YOUR CERTIFICATES.  CERTIFICATES NOT COLLECTED ARE RETURNED TO THE EXAMINATION BOARDS AND POTENTIALLY DESTROYED.

ANY REPLACEMENTS YOU REQUIRE IN THE FUTURE WILL INCUR A COST WITH THE RELEVANT AWARDING BODY (current costs are between £43-£57 per certificate depending on the awarding body).

We look forward to seeing you on Results Day and wish you the very best of luck.
